Phitofilos LEGNO DI CAMPEGGIO is the powdered bark of the Campechian blueberry . Due to the content of hematoxylin, after oxidation of hematein, it is sometimes called "bloodwood". It perfectly colors hair, giving it shades of brown, red and even purple.

Campesh wood, used alone, has poor ability to combine with keratin. It is recommended to mix it with other herbs, especially pure henna or indigo. The addition of wood to light mixtures - it will darken the hair, enhancing the brown shades.

Purples come out of the tree better at an alkaline pH.

Before applying the mixture, we recommend performing an allergy/color test on a small area of ​​skin and a strand of hair.

How to use: Use as an addition to herbal mixtures, henna or cassia.

Campesh wood should first be mixed with water and baking soda in a pot, simmering over low heat. Then, after a few or a dozen or so minutes (after partial cooling), mix the Campesh paste with henna, indigo or cassia. Thanks to this, you will obtain multi-dimensional reflections in shades bordering on purple.
