Phitofilos ALCANNA is a powdered root of Alcanna . It contains a wealth of tannins, flavonoids and plant waxes. It also contains alkanine - a natural red-purple dye, used to dye fabrics, wool and food products since ancient times.

The color obtained from alkanna is very dependent on the environment. In acidic - it takes on red, mahogany tones, while in alkaline - it tends towards cooler, blue and purple tones.

The most effective mixture of alkanna is the one with henna, hibiscus, optionally rubia or sandalwood. It is used to enhance tones, rather than for solo dyeing.
